Youth Animation Project
The Quickdraw Animation Society’s Youth Animation Project (YAP) is a program for community action through animation. YAP equips young people with enhanced skill sets to procure future employment, or advance through further education.
Throughout the 20 week project, youth are paid to develop an employment action-plan, a resume / portfolio and a short animated movie based on the issues and themes of interest to youth for the 2011 community partners: The Alberta Wilderness Association, The Calgary Police Service, The Calgary Public Library and The Calgary Sexual Health Center.
Quickdraw Animation Society
