All This for $145
I went grocery shopping without the wife tonight and was told to only spend $100. I ended up spending $145. When I looked at the reciept I added up all of the stuff that the wife wouldn't have bought and it came up to around $60; so I feel that I did pretty good.

I also fail when I go shopping because I'll buy things that I think are a good deal, but maybe it's the normal price. When was a bachelor I would know the prices because I did the shopping.
AcmeWife also hits ups a multiple stores and makes a biggo list of what item @ what store based on their flyer. Remember ANY ready made food is probably going to cost more and have bad stuff like hydrogenated oils. I still eat the stuff, but if you don't buy it it's harder to eat.
We saw a thing on TV talking about organic, and much of the time research says the "organic" stuff is a waste, because research says certain foods aren't worse that are NON organic...things that have skins on them like bananas, avocados, etc
Lastly, triscuits rule, I think they don't have the bad fat either. On the other hand cheese-its are prob awful for fat. We have 'em and the kids love them, but I find myself snacking on them @ night which is bad!
