The opening night of No Way Out, an exhibition of new and unseen work by Vans OTW advocate Eric Elms.
Eric Elms is an illustrator and artist born in New York in 1980, his work is influenced by the North American pop culture he experienced first hand during the 80's and 90's.
Often playing with words and typography, much of his work consists of familiar slogans or phrases re-imagined as towering sculptures. Elsewhere Elms displays he is comfortable with abstraction, graphic outcomes from research and images of everyday life laid out in collages, a nod to his many cultural references.
Eric Elms will be in Paris at the Galerie Alexandre Lazarew May 12 to June 4, 2011 with No Way Out, an exhibition of new and unseen work.
Exhibition produced in collaboration with Classic and with the support of Vans OTW.
