The fertile air of early spring at the botanical gardens of Zilker Park played host to Secret Cities in one of our first days at SxSW. Personalized bamboo shoots, the imprints of past wanderings, accompanied the band's music of youth... all blossoming ideals, budding optimism with a colouring of first pains.

Marie drops one of our mics into the pond. I inadvertently teach a child to swear. Grackle calls, butterflies, waterfalls, koi fish and airborne seeds soothe the tribulations though, and the players treat the nature lovers to their pretty melodies.
