Alex Richardson and I made this video using the 5dmkii. This was to test it's basic functionality as a piece of video equipment, find the best workflow to log and transfer it's video files to Final Cut, and to prepare ourselves for an upcoming short.
All the audio (bar two sound effects found in Soundtrack Pro's effect library) was recorded separately an hour or two after the shoot with a Rode NTG-2 and a Beachtek DXA-5DA mixer. Not too adept with audio yet, so had to clean it in soundtrack pro. Worked better than I thought, but will (hopefully) be using a Zoom H4n and Plural Eyes in the future. I don't think fixing everything in post is good practice.
This was also our first practice with Shoot35's Cinefocus follow focus system, though we didn't use it much in this shoot.
