Mike Larsen - Security Studies Researcher

We sat down with Mike Larsen, researcher at the York Center for International and Security Studies. He gave us a broad perspective on the use of Security Certificates within the prisons, detention centers and the courts. In these clips Mike explains some of the considerations in the construction of the Kingston Immigration Holding Center (KIHC), dubbed "Guantanamo North," where Almrei, Harkat, Jaballah, Mahjoub were held. He also outlines some of the problems that disturb him with the current measures being implemented.
