In Kansas City on May 18, 2011 participants joined together for The Ride of Silence. This an international movement that memorializes bicyclists and pedestrians who have been hurt or killed in crashes on the road. This solemn, reflective ride draws attention to the need for all road motorized and non-motorized travelers to share the road safely and respectfully.
