Why claymation? We wanted to use the medium of clay to play upon the practical application for this series- being shaped, moulded, changed and refined to be more like Jesus, just like the clay is also continually moving, reshaping, and more greatly resembling the likeness of the word or object it is a replica of. The clay is also, like us, shaped by an unseen hand, and never dries out in one position (because its polymer clay- too clever!), it keeps on adding, growing and being transformed and renewed, just like us!
