Video footage of the 6th Annual Grind For Life Benefit held November 15th-17th, 2008 at the Cocoa Beach Skate Park. The annual GFL benefit raises funds to help cancer patients.
The mission of the Grind For Life organization is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when traveling long distances to doctors and hospitals In addition, the GFL educates and inspires these patients and families concerning cancer survival and recovery. Those who qualify may request assitance for travel and lodging expenses, meal, and personal needs.
Grind for Life was founded by Mike Rogers a two time cancer survivor, and professional skateboarder.
Footage of Andy Macdonald, Benji Galloway, Tim Johnson, AJ Kohn, Buck Smith, Mike Rodgers, and many local skateboarders ripping it up at the Cocoa Beach Skate Park.
Additionally, Jill Gresko provides an overview of the Thrift for Life Thrift Store, a thrift store operated by the GFL. Funds from the thrift store are used to help cancer patients in their travels, etc...
