Very impressive! Especially keeping a balance between surfing and travelling. I'm still having a hard time with that.

I know what you mean & I guess we just have to stay longer abroad :) Haha.. yeah the voiceover; was devinitely the hardest part for me... hearing your own voice is weird, hearing your own voice in a foreign language is funny & then finding the right tonality is almost impossible without training (at least for me) :) but by this time I already think it adds something to the movie... a professional mastering of the audio would not hurt though.

Sick little movie, again! Looks like those GoPro's made life easier since now you didn't have to stay on the beach to capture the action, but you could actually go surf and film at the same time! Still, very nicely edited. I don't know what it is, but I usually get tired really easy from GoPro shots, cause everyone's doing them nowadays, but there must have been something in the editing cause i really enjoyed watching yours.. Also liked the voiceovers. Did you write them on the trip, or was this one of those "shoot-as-much-footage-as-you-can-and-figure-the-storytelling/editing-puzzle-out-at-home" type of project? Again, congrats and thanks for this little movie.

Hi Greg!
Yeah, thats exactly why we brought the GoPro camera, you are able to combine surfing and filming :) This was roughly a year ago and I know what you mean. I'm getting tired of this angle too (though there are some guys out there pushing it with lots of various angles). But at this time it was just pure fun for us seeing us surfing... I wouldn't do it again this way but can still see lots of potential with the GoPro.
I didn't write the exact same text in Indonesia, but we wrote down lots of notes and ideas. Lots of stuff was shot on purpose, but yeah, as always when traveling you will never exactly know what you will get. So some stuff was "just" shot and put together at home...

Awesome video, I've seen thousands of surf videos but rarely watch them to completion, but I really enjoyed this entire video. I actually really liked the commentary, I thought there could even have been a bit more, my only criticism is that it was difficult to understand a couple of words.

Where are you guys from? You mentioned you grew up by the ocean?
