    I used a bit of everything. The majority of these timelapses were done on an old Canon Rebel using the Canon remote capture software on a laptop. A few using a video camera and a few using a Canon 7D.

    This is fantastic. I love using mirror effects. This is a perfect example of why anyone who says it's a cheap effect is wrong. I used it similarly in the beginning of my video here. vimeo.com/24030026 The shot needed something to catch the eye.

    Have you considered putting a black layer with a transparency of 80 or 90% over the lower portion? That would make it look like actual water.

    What would it look like if you delayed the reflection by minutes or hours? Or take the same shot over several days and mix the reflection in at the same time of the day?

    Absolutely loved this one. Wonderful in so many ways, motion, color, effective mirroring and good choice of music that works with the flow. Fantastic lightning shots, BRAVO ! Love the west side view point too. I am originally from the Chicago area (Deerfield) but have been in California since 1974. Your piece is a beautiful tribute to the rich architecture and public art of this great city. Dare I say, Awesome!!!
