Great job on the video! I have some friends who are a URM success story. They were both homeless and the URM helped them get their lives in order. They ended up falling in love and getting married. Today they have a home and children.
Thanks for the work you do there.

Thanks for the comments. For the shoot we used a wireless lapel mic. The sound echoed a bit because of the room, and we had it cleaned up/filtered a bit by a sound mixer. Hope that helps.

How did you connect the lapel mic, and have it record with the d90?

because i want to use the d90 video, but NOT the d90 mic, Because im going to be making short movies, and the d90 mic just does not fit it,
and im trying to find a way, where i can go out and record a short movie, and edit it, but record with an External mic

please, if you could help me out, that would mean so much!
    thank you

We did not use the D90's audio. We filmed with 2 cameras: the D90 and the HMC150. So lapel mic went into the HMC150 and then we just used the basic D90 audio to sync the picture with the HMC audio.

A suggestion for a cheaper alternative... when we're just shooting with a D90 we use an M-Audio Microtrack II to record audio. It records very high quality, is very small, and is not too expensive. Then in post we sync the audio as if we were shooting film. Works well. Hope that helps!
