A music visualization I made during this weekend to celebrate the Processing 1.0 release. The now non-beta Processing comes bundled with some great libraries for music and video manipulation, and a bunch of examples including real-time video processing from the web cam. Very neat.

Back to the video: I've always enjoyed the music visualization videos and wanted to give a try at making one, but I definitely lack any artistic skills; so I picked this Daft Punk song that I enjoy and which have some interesting intermixed lyrics that could produce a nice effect on the screen :)

The red squares frequency visualizer at the bottom is inspired in the Daft Punk table, a piece of hardware-furniture?-visualization from some time ago that displayed some cool red patterns following the rhythm of the songs.
