Yale Law School announced 229 degree candidates at the School’s commencement ceremony May 23, 2011. Speakers included Dean Robert Post, as well as Alfred M. Rankin Professor of Law Drew Days ’66 and Sterling Professor of Law Owen Fiss, who are both retiring this year. Sterling Professor Emeritus of Law Guido Calabresi ’58 cut his address short as rain began to pour down upon those gathered in the Law School courtyard. The ceremony was then moved to the School’s Levinson Auditorium, where the names of the J.D. students were called.
