    Looks like it worked out! I have to admit the video made me a touch nauseous with the camera jumping all over the place anglewise in relation to the path of travel. A top mount might alleviate the problem.

    Yeah, it was stable but all over the place. I did not realize how often and how violently I turn my head. I am still leaning towards a highly engineered handlebar mount. And by highly engineered I mean whatever inspires me at the hardware store.
