LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla., April 28, 2011 -- As Walt Disney World Resort embarked on its second week of a 40-day celebration across Central Florida to shine a spotlight on charitable organizations, it leant support to several groups that develop and strengthen the character of local children.

With special gifts totaling $250,000 in tow, Mickey Mouse held a surprise meeting with four local organizations to recognize and reward their efforts. Our A Gift For Music program was one of the recipients, receiving a check for $100,000!
