ONCE IT STARTED IT COULD NOT END OTHERWISE (Kelly Sears | Houston, Texas | 7 min.)

billy congo 5 months agoWhatever it was, boy, I bet it was really bad! Blood dripping and people running. General dismay. Once you start the year without school spirit, things go downhill rapidly. People not doing their jobs! That's not right! -
Marge 2 months agoyour video is so great. i love it all. some of the people on your comments are awful. you should be so proud!!! this is beautiful. the mood is so strong and wonderful. the sound, like so many have pointed out, is really spectacular. so creative!! -

1 month ago i think this succeeds as an art film and should be judged as such. i would have liked to have heard more dynamic sound design and i think the arc of what happened could have been more defined/explored beyond what's on the slates. the editing and pacing are reasonably well executed but i found the middle sequence starting at 5:00 a tad cliche'. all that said, i still think it's an interesting piece that's worth the time as is kelly's other work on her site. i'd love to see what else she puts out in the future.
