The cold climate, various cutting tools and working manually with their hands, contra rapid rate of production, are some of the factors that contribute to a complex working situation.

The goal was to improve the pig rib-separating tool so that it is suited for professional butchers. The tool provides a better ergonomic handling and prevents future work related problems in the butcher’s hands.
