The metaphore of modern democratic government is simply eye-opening and the overall speech is incredibly, from my point of view, well posed to be 'acceptable' by the 'mean citizen' to be effective and well-received.

I think that in countries where the Government is based on more than two parties, this kind of speaking made by parties can be more effective and change enabler than the pure demonization of who is in charge or the opposition.

But, as Prof. Lessig states, in this though times the only kind of speaking we're hearing is populism and incombent preservation. By the way, i loved the concept of "do no harm" and minimalism of Government, not only on the Internet issue.
