“I just remember her voice cracking – ‘is everything okay?’ and I said ‘I don’t know’” - Jeff
Parents of three girls, Jeff and Katherine talk family, marriage and cancer, as they discuss Jeff’s brain tumor, which was discovered in 2008 by accident. In a lucky circumstance, Jeff’s tumor was diagnosed to be a Grade 2 rather than the expected Grade 4, but that day, the family’s “life…changed forever.” Along with their friends and family, Jeff and Katherine dealt with the tumor with the help of their daughters, who were “good prayer warriors for daddy.” After a reoccurrence in 2010, Jeff is now doing well and the family is glad that he is recovering. “What we’re going through is just a bad season and we still have many years to live.”
Recorded May 20, 2011 at M.D. Anderson's Together In Hope Conference for Brain Tumor Patients.
