I was so nervous watching this, afraid you were going to hurt him. I'm glad you didn't show the actual freeing part. I bought my dad a mouse trap that's more like a little house the mouse goes into, and then gets stuck, and can then be taken outside and freed, but he doesn't use it. :(
on the directions for the sticky trap it says that you can just discard the trap with the mouse on it once you catch him.

how do people look at those huge eyes and say, "yep, you're getting tossed"
I think the pulling him off of the trap part was probably the most terrifying for him as he had no way of knowing my intentions and has probably never made contact with a human
I imagine that would be rather terrifying. I wonder if mice are able to have heart attacks. And if so, it's a good thing he didn't, otherwise it would have brought on a very somber theme.
But I love all of the victory in the end. He'll be so happy haha
