This short film was created to accompany Elastic Theatre's production Baroque Box, in which the company revisits the intriguing ideas about the human body, found in Baroque art and Seventeenth Century science. Much more than a simple trailer, working on this video with Savage Mills Ltd has given us the opportunity to continue to explore our sources of inspiration, without referring directly to the story depicted in Baroque Box. In this sense, it has been a vital part in our creative journey on this project and we hope it conveys both our passion for the Baroque as well as for contemporary ways in which to re-imagine this period.
