This is a short film based on the world of Airsoft, but which includes all the features seen in action and war films.

For those of you who have never heard of this sport/hobby we would like to state that we are in no way promoting violence,
instead we are simulating military tactics and our only aims are fun and entertainment.
The players are equiped with real life weapon replicas which fire biodegradable plastic balls (weight 0.20 grams) and also
protective eyewear.

I decided to write this short film when I first became aware of the activity of a local airsoft group in my town. I got in touch with them
and they happily accepted to take part and soon after it was time to film or should I say shoot!.

The short was filmed using a Canon 7D DSLR and a wide range of lenses, and additional equipment included a crane (for some shots), shoulder rig
(for the handheld shots) and a slider.

In total, filming took 11 hours. The chosen location was the Mandeo River at its pass thourgh Paderne Council, a great place for trout fishing.

Este es un cortometraje basado en el mundo del Airsoft , pero introduciendo todos los topicos de las peliculas de accion belica de toda la vida.

Para los que desconozcan este hobbie/deporte , decir que para nada esta a favor de la violencia , sino mas bien con la simulacion de acciones militares por el puro placer de la diversion y el entretenimiento.
Los jugadores van equipados con replicas de armas reales y disparan bolas de plastico biodegradable de 0,20 gramos de peso , asi como de las correspondientes gafas protectoras.

Decidi escribir este cortometraje cuando supe de la actividad de un grupo de Airsoft en mi ciudad. Me puse en contacto con ellos y aceptaron encantados , y despues todo vino rodado , o mejor dicho , disparado jeje...

El corto fue rodado con una Canon 7D y numerosas opticas , y como equipo de apoyo , se utilizo una grua para algunos planos , un estativo para los planos de camara al hombro y un slider.
Fueron necesaria 11 horas para completar el rodaje , y la localizacion corresponde al rio Mandeo , a su paso por el Ayuntamiento de Paderne , un lugar inmejorable para mas cosas que pescar truchas..

Asi como a las dos personas que me ayudaron en todo el rodaje , sin las cuales no habria sido posible completarlo , Roberto González , que ademas de rodar el making-off me ayudo con la direccion y el equipo , y Victor Velasco , que aunque normalmente trabaja como camara , esta vez hizo las funciones de tecnico de sonido de directo , haciendo una gran labor , asi que... nos vemos en el proximo rodaje chicos!!
