I have created 4 different patterns for split-screens. With different aspects ratios, and it does take work to accommodate the clips so they show well, but I enjoy doing it.
I'm sure with a bit of practice and sweat, you'll do just fine!

Actually it's called glass sculpting, since it involves much more than just blowing (although I couldn't show all the phases of their work due to time constraints)
