The orcas are finally rocking as of yesterday evening when Tjerrie Verhellen helped me welding the orcas dorsal fins to the rocking wave. Thank you Tjerrie for your invaluable advice on modeling this piece, finding a way to make it work kinetically, and introducing me to the wonderful worlds of metal working and welding. Thanks also to other sculpture students at Rhok Academy who all contribute to make Tjerrie's sculpture class such a warm, rich, and inviting place.
