this is a really rough first cut of an essay film about technology and control, it uses google as its reference, but a lot of it refers to the internet itself and how it has become alligned with potentially making us think in the last few years.

it has some concerns in it about digital imperialism/the networked/dispersive nature of power relations and stuff like that. its not meant as a direct criticism more as a thought piece.

The book in the middle is Laurence Lessig free culture. the title comes from the marx quote and there is a foucault, siegel and a bell quote in there too. sorry about the cheese! like i say its still being worked on and the idea will come out eventually
