Jessamy Rosario was born on May 25, 1980 to Julito and Alicia Rosario. The youngest of three children, Jessamy has two older siblings, Don and Jennifer. Jessamy was born in Vallejo, California, where she spent the majority of her life from kindergarten through her graduation from high school at Vallejo Senior High. After high school, Jessamy attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in English as well as a minor in music. Jessamy has had a strong interest in music since she was a young child and also loves to read, bake and hopes to travel more. Jessamy currently works for the Public Heatlh Institute in Sacramento.

Rudy Martin Herrera was born on September 29, 1980, to Ruben and Pamela Herrera in San Francisco, California. Rudy has two older sisters, Dawn and Lori, and one younger brother, Ryan. Rudy also graduated from Vallejo Senior High and then received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of California, Davis. Rudy is an avid fan of football/baseball/basketball/poker and currently works at Genentech in Vacaville.

Rudy and Jessamy reside in West Sacramento with their cat, Coco.

How We Met

Rudy and I met in our 10th grade science class. We never really talked much but Rudy used to walk around class stamping everyone's in-class assignment and he would come around before I was finished... he would stamp my paper anyway.

We didn't have very many classes together until senior year. We still didn't talk much - we had one class together and Rudy joined this after school program I participated in. We graduated and went our separate ways.

A few years later I was at a friends birthday party. Rudy was there also. We talked a little at the party but I never thought I'd hear from him again. A few days later I got a phone call from him and the rest is history...
