Expression, Perception, Identity
I am...Me is a short form documentary about self-expression, perception and identity. The film is a social experiment in which the two characters, Ray Silva, and Rebecca Geddes explore and analyse the identities they have created for themselves. Through the art of their self portraits they explain the psychology behind a quick drawing of themselves and learn that it is far more telling than they had anticipated. After watching the two draw their conclusions they finally meet and get to form a real life first impression. After meeting each other in person they come away with the realization that although people have complex, multi-layered personalities, we aren’t so different from each other and that everyone shares human experiences and feels the need to be accepted and loved.
