A couple times a year our company comes together for a great event called HAX. We think of projects, and work with people outside our team to get them done. This year, we decided to take the day to find out what makes BrightRoll so amazing. I asked my coworkers to describe what they love about our company, and got more than I bargained for. Laughs, stories, and even some heart.
Shot by our Director of Engineering, Adolfo, I had the duty to get people in front of the camera and talking. Thanks to our Research Analyst, Koushalya, we had a list of questions for everyone. We spent all afternoon trying to get folks out of their shells, and for the most part it worked. Here is a day in the life at BrightRoll, including a story about the Bright Troll.
Shot with a 60D, audio captured with a Zoom H1. Synced manually, which took longer than the entire edit. Plural Eyes (or FCPX) is in my future. The H1 was placed as near as possible to each person, some are closer than others. Experimentation with hiding a lav mic is next!
