First test of Canon 5D HD video. I read in the manual that you can take stills while shooting a movie and I tried that at the finish, but it leaves an annoying freeze complete with fake photo sound on the movie file.
Also, given the high def, you should always use a tripod. About half of these are hand-held and they're shaky even with an IS lens

I'm so jealous of your 5D!
And this was very good!
And i never think it(Canon 5DMk II) would be so nice ,to use on fast moving objekts.
Yes,its a bit too few frame/sec, but it works.
I have order one in early Nov,but them told me that i probably have it in the beginning of Feb.
Thanks for this video.
I'm also jealous
I just picked up a Velbon DV 7000 after recommendation and I'm totally blown away by the build quality for the price.
Buttery smooth fluid head and it extends to eye level if needed. Costs almost 1/6 of the Manfrotto/Bogen 503HDV setup.
Check it out if you need a tripod!
I thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks for posting it up.
