The trip begins at sea level, is 157 km long, rises upward 2 km, and crosses the complete width of Vancouver Island from Campbell River on the east coast to Bedwell Sound on the west coast. The trip entitled "Strathcona: A Slice Through Paradise" was documented to show how fragile the spectacularly pristine state of our Island is.
