Toil, a Boston based broadcast design studio gave us free reign and a blank canvas to create the storyboards and graphical elements for an experimental piece emotive of their namesake. With a limited, but bright color palette in mind, and a love for all things from the Japanese Edo Period, it didn't take us long to narrow down our concept to the hard working, sword-wielding samurai.
