This was my first flight in heavy rain in my new Lightsport. It was not as bad as I feared, although I was lucky that the rain had stopped by the time I came in to land.
In the air I just had to make sure I flew a bit faster than trim. I did a number of fairly flat turns at height with no serious problems. Don't even try a steep turn anywhere near the ground with a wet wing or you will spiral into the ground.
