IBT Local 357 has a great turnout for informational picketing at the annual Shareholder's meeting in Indianapolis, trying to raise awareness about some important facts the public does not know:
1. They have been working for more than four years since their last contract expired in Oct., 2007.
2. Their first officers have topped out in pay due to that expired contract, and are now taking a pay-cut every year due to inflation and health care costs.
3. Work rules under the old contract are outdated, incomplete, and regularly misinterpreted by the company.
4. Morale is at an all-time low, with attrition rates sky-rocketing as other companies start to hire again.
