Kinect Graffiti is a digital graffiti tool using "Microsoft Kinect" camera.

Idea behind this project is to use the kinect to track the motion behind graffiti. Visualizing the body and drawing trough different angles in realtime, Understanding surrounding space, pausing the time, etc...

Kinect Graffiti is a tool built in processing & openGL, SimpleOpenNI, openNI and primeSense libraries.

Amazing visualization and good work ... but where is the graffiti? nowerdays everything seems graffiti. Get out, buy a spraycan and see how much your stuff is graffiti ...

Hi ~ If for you graffiti is limited to spray cans, stencils or marker pens... and drawing big types or tags, maybe calling it graffiti is not proper. Actually i started by that... In this program if you want you can draw, there is a tool to write/draw more accurately. But people like Evan Roth with Graffiti Analysis (GML) did great job before. I wanted to focus more on the space and body motions. This project is an exploration of light graffiti in a digital way and i'm agree that this is a bit at the boundaries.. But hey that's the purpose of experimentation no ? You should check the work made by Man Ray (Space Writing) and also Bosanko or Lichtfaktor...

With all due respect, I personally think it's a bit of a stretch to call this graffiti, that being said, it looks AMAZING.

Love the presentation, the music and the organic feel of light streaks that become an extension of the human body.

    Keep up the great work!
