I was recently in charge of all the artwork as part of the refurbishment of Zizzi Ristorante in Beckenham, London. Zizzi are a chain of Italian restaurants with 152 branches throughout the UK. Beckenham is where David Bowie grew up, and he launched his career from the restaurant back when it was a pub in the late 60's. As an ode to Bowie I illustrated a number of walls and tables, hand-wrote the interior signage and designed a set of 8 frosted windows. Here's a short video documenting some of the process behind the project.
