The growth of physically simulated environments and the use of nanotechnology, in particular foglets, could bring new modes of production, driven by the consumer through cognitive manipulation of matter. The consumer would become the producer. With these new possibilities come new limitations. Most people are not designers.
Pastness Projection represents a character who has constructed his environment with memories of the past. Frustrated with the lack of value in the simulated world he reconstructs objects and images as well as fractured memories of spaces which mean something to him.
