Recored 23 May 2011 at the Roots conference in Bergen, Norway.
Abstract:
Over the last few years, we have changed our development process from waterfall to agile methodologies. An evolution that have affected every aspect of software development, including the testing field, for both for better and worse.
In this talk, we will give a brief description of the methodologies we have gone through, and how we have chosen to interpret them. Methodologies starting with the waterfall process to our first agile attempt with scrum, then to Kanban and currently back to scrum again. We will share our experiences, both good and bad, with these methodologies from a tester’s and test perspective (advantages/disadvantages). We will also share our stories on where we succeeded, what we did wrong, and where we hope to go from here.
