This is one of my FAV ways to add extra yummy magic to everything savory you can imagine. Well worth the extra effort, I show you how you can have caramelized onions in 10mins or less.
2c. thinly sliced raw onions, any variety
1-2 T. coconut oil, ghee or any vegetable oil of choice, butter adds extra yummy flavors!
Lower the heat before adding extra oil if the onions cook too quickly. A splash of a little water, instead of more fat, will also work well if the cooking is more than 80% complete.
