The totality of Spanish dance includes Spanish Classical {Escuela Bolera}, Neo-Classical, Regional dances and Flamenco. The art of the castanets is an integral part of Classical Spanish dance and the castanets are sometimes used in Flamenco dances such as Sevillanas, Fandangos de Huelva, to name a few. The importance of Spanish dance and its connection to Flamenco is in danger of being lost in America. Carolina is committed to preserving this art form by continuing to present important works by leading Spanish composers of the 20th Century such as Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados, Isaac Albeniz and Geronimo Gimenez.
