Chester Kuma reports that volunteers have rallied in Sydney to fill a shipping container with medical instruments, supplies and bedding, for 50 medical clinics in the South Pacific.

Some clinics were established 100 years ago, and all have deteriorated to the point where they have little or no equipment, and poor facilities.

But all 50 clinics, run by Adventist nurses, will receive a special parcel before Christmas.
