This is the second segment of the Air Pollution Control District (APCD) workshop on the Phase 2 Study at the South County Regional Center on May 3, 2010.

This segment contains the results of the Phase 2 Study.

The particulate matter concentrations measured on the Nipomo Mesa are health threatening. The samples show that the material is primarily carcinogenic crystalline silica.

The pollution is coming from the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area (ODSVRA).
