International approaches to young adults and criminal justice.
Dr. Ineke Pruin is research associate at the Department of Criminology in Greifswald and Heidelberg, Germany. She studied law at the Universities of Greifswald and Mannheim, Germany. She obtained her doctoral degree (Dr. jur.) in 2006 with an internationally comparative study on young adult offenders in European juvenile justice systems. She has taught criminology, juvenile justice and prison law at the University of Heidelberg since 2008. Her research interests are: juvenile justice, resettlement, restorative justice and human rights in prisons.
