After the election of Barack Obama as the new President of the US, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen left for Washington and New York. He had the opportunity to meet some American Democrats and the American Trade Union confederation, to discuss with John Sweeney, Joseph Stiglitz and many others. The issues were Obama’s election, and the financial crisis of course.
