Telebasura is a project aiming to represent the consumer driven society in which we live. Commodity is engrained in every aspect of our culture, even the purest objects or ideas - worries, truths, uncertainties, - are given a a value or a price tag. We take an approach to this very subject in this piece (telebasura 001), portraying the artist dressed as a fortune teller, and taking in calls from paying customers.
