A quick visit to Succor Creek
A sweet little creek run on the Oregon/Idaho border that because of work done by local paddlers now has a realtime online 15-minute gauge. Lowest you'd want to paddle it is 120 cfs. This video was shot mostly at 120 cfs although there are shots of 90 cfs and 60 cfs as well.
This creek is a only 1 hour from Boise and is a great option in the spring with a little rain. If flows are getting into the 300 cfs area, it is worth a long drive to paddle it.
The upcoming film is scheduled to be released Spring 2009. Visit stoneandwaterproductions.com for more details on the film, and a link to the online gauge.
