Choreographed and shot in an afternoon workshop conducted by Sue Healey, this collaboration with dance filmmakers Amanda Phillips and Kat Worth saw me slide behind the camera and work with the fabric of dance film for the first time. Billie Cook is the featured dancer.

The piece was shot on my own Sony HVR-A1P camera on location in Adelaide, South Australia. A few shots utilise a vintage Quantaray fish-eye adaptor. The piece was edited with Emma Sterling in Adobe Premiere Pro 2 on a Windows XP machine, and graded to high-contrast black and white during the edit.

Yes, it's a silent film. Enjoy.
