sunny road (DOF Adapter)

Music: Sunny Road by Emilíana Torrini
My second attempt with the Twoneil DOF Adapter. I discovered an old photo tripod this time that I thought I would use to help control my shaky hands. Unfortunately I also discovered how useless an old crappy featherweight tripod is when its windy.
Being my first video camera and first twoneil adapter, each video I make is a real learning curve and I'm really enjoying making mistakes. One thing you have to watch with the adapter is that you don't accidentally zoom out any time during shooting. To calibrate the DOF adapter you need to do a very minor zoom past the black bars that the adapter creates. During filming it can be quite second nature to zoom out, even accidentally, and the black bars (usually on one side) don't always show up in the viewfinder.
You'll see in a few shots I have tried to hide this with some pretty average vignetting. Considering putting a piece of removable plastic over the zoom when using the adapter.
This video was taken in Perth, overlooking the Swan River.

I'm putting together a DOF adapter and I'll post some videos once it's finished.
Beautiful shots BTW. Strong winds usually won't show up until you take the footage home and look at it on a larger monitor- I know from experience!
Yeah I am I really just learning how to use the camera and how much dedication it takes to produce decent and interesting shots.
Once Again Excellent work!!
INFO WOULD BE MOUCH APPRECIATED
