Time-lapse video of the studio photoshoot for the newly reworked Sylvia.

The shoot was directed by David Bintley, creator of Sylvia and Director of Birmingham Royal Ballet, and features six dancers from the Company. It took place in the studio space at Elmhurst School for Dance, with photographer Steve Hanson.

The clip culminates in the final group poster image, and features music from the ballet, composed by Delibes.

    The best bit was the faces of the taxi drivers who took everyone from the studios to the shoot as the dancers piled into their cabs in full costume and make-up!

    this is way cool. haha, photoshoots are always funny, lots of preparation, and an occasional flash of light. :)

    Time lapse never catches as many of those flashes of light as you'd hope though - we must have taken hundreds of shots at this shoot and only about three of the flashes were picked up on film!
