After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, I was in Amherst at the end of May to pack up and move out of my place there. I'd wanted to put together a time-lapse project during the semester, but was never able to find the time. With four days left before I had to leave, I decided to photograph as many sequences as I could, traveling to some of my favorite spots around the Pioneer Valley. It is by no means a complete look at this great area, but I think it's a nice glimpse.
Time-lapse sequences were shot on a Nikon D80 with 18-135mm and 50mm lenses and assembled in QT7; a Canon Powershot SD940 was used for the two regular videos. Edited in Final Cut Pro.
